The football community is morning the loss of a great young player and young person. Jean-Desir Fils Milfort of Montreal was involved in a car accident Sunday morning. Milfort lost his life in the accident. Details of the accident have yet to be released.
Milfort was a great young player who did not start playing football until he enrolled at John Abbot College, located in the west island of Montreal. He had committed to playing university football with the Concordia Stingers. CFC reporter Denis Dorian profiled him in December of 2011 - CLICK HERE for that article.
Friends and coaches of Milfort have expressed sorrow for the loss and have all said what a great young person he was. Details will be added to this article when received.
