It is not a secret issue that the issue of proper career employment is driving countries crazy. Each government, from the high class to the third world, is doing its best to counter unemployment. But the concept of unemployment is based on just getting a job for an unemployed person. On the contrary, the Vocational Training has a solid multi-dimensional concept. It asks you to get a job for you self so that you can provide jobs to few more unemployed persons.
The Concept and Need of Vocational Training
It is more famous as self career employment . At the core of this concept is that everybody is good as something or the other. Though the person may not be perfect in that area, but he sure has some knowledge. If he has some knowledge about anything, all that is required is to improve it to an extent that the person can confidently walk into any office and request a job based on his skills.
This is just the fundamental idea. Suppose a person is good at designing, he can join some vocational training in designing and go for a job. But again, in this world, where population has gone so high that it is difficult to provide jobs to each and everyone, what is the guarantee that he will get a job once he undergoes the training?
This is where the government steps in. Recognizing the potential or manpower and his/her desire to achieve something in life rather than staying unemployed, the government helps such people to establish their own ventures. As mentioned above, this is the real concept of vocational training. Earn and help others earn. While you establish your own venture, you will have to hire quite a few people on salary or percentage basis thereby reducing the problem of unemployment.
Careers after Vocational Training
In the world of snobs where most people prefer white-collared high profile jobs, people going for these kinds of courses are less. Almost everybody wants to become a doctor, an engineer, aeronautics, and much more. Under such conditions, though they tend to complete the education for say, doctorate, there are very less chances of them getting a stable job.
On the other hand, since less people go for the vocational training, the demand for professionals in separate areas is very high. People need plumbers, electricians, tailors and many more professionals without whom, we cannot even imagine out lives. Yet we do not care to think about them. Well that is a different issue. The main point here is that whatever field you chose for your vocational training, you are sure to get a job very soon after completing your jobs.
Many times, people from the local industries come over to your vocational training institute in pursuit of people who can perform the required duties very well. This means you are hired even before you have completed your vocational training.
Future Scope of Vocational Training
Everything is as transparent as a pure glass. The population is growing at an alarming rate. New technologies are being implemented day after day. Though the scope for white-collared jobs will remain or may go down, the demand for professionals with knowledge of basic necessities of living will go up almost vertically in a graph.
There was a time when the elders were reluctant to let their children join vocational training as it was viewed as a substitute for not studying. But now the parents also have begun to understand the value of vocational training , they allow their children to get into it right after the intermediate with or without degree simultaneously.
And the best part is that governments of the particular states take personal interest in this. One can find many counselors and scheme that helps you fund in case you want to get self employed to utilize the vocational training .
